After thunderbird version 31.3 one specific rss feed shows as invalid

Hi,

The rss feed {http://www.livemint.com/rss/homepage} was working fine in the old version i.e before 31.3. Now when I select new messages, I get a message that it is an invalid feed. I added this feed to Firefox and it is working.

Hmm, I can't see any obvious RSS feeds on the livemint.com site. You're sure about that address?

I reverted back to Thunderbird version 24.6 & the RSS feed mentioned is updating again. SO there is compatibility issue of the feed with new version of Thunderbird.

If you look in the Error Console, you will see the reason for the rejection of this feed.

In Tb31, to fix an issue with duplicate feeds and create unique identifiers for feeds that can't manage to include one, certain mandatory tags are now really mandatory. Tell the publisher to read the rss2.0 spec, or better to follow the superior Atom spec.

Thanks for the help. So I will have to use the old version of Thunderbird until the publisher changes the feed spec.
