how to make email print larger in thunderbird

I installed thunderbird in firefox on home computer. I can't figure out how to make the text larger for the emails. When I open up any of my emails the text is so tiny, can't read it. How do I make the text large on the actual emails? I was using windows live before and it never has small email text. I would rather use firefox email. Thank you for reading, have a nice day!
