Hi,

Long story short I've lost my company email list. I know I can get them back somehow so I installed thunderbird and connected my hotmail to it. It's now loaded all 15,000 emails but I can't seem to be able to extract them to put them in an an excel file. I've read on support forums that Thunderbird places all these emails in a txt file of sorts and then I'll be able to run a query to extract them. Problem is I can't find that file. Is there anyone that can help me? Please?

Just what are you trying to do? And really what has Thunderbird to do with it?

As I read this you want your contacts out of Hotmail in a text file. which is covered in this you tube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJ3Aheps8oE Note the CSV is a text file with commas. I discuss those in a spreadsheet here http://thunderbirdtweaks.blogspot.com.au/2013/03/importing-csv-files.html

If you really want the contact in yoour Thunderbird address book then I discuss how here http://thunderbirdtweaks.blogspot.com.au/2014/10/sync-hotmailoutlookcom-contacts-with.html
