Tried to migrate Thunderbird email to IMAP from POP3 account. Set up unsuccessful, followed instructions for Thunderbird and Go Daddy. Called Go Daddy, they said issue at Thunderbird end. During set up, created more than one account all same. Error said account already created, so deleted to be able to close dialog box windows. Thus this deleted all my sub-folders and former messages. If a duplicate account was deleted/removed, can it be restored?

And you didn't make a backup? Easiest way to find out is With Tbird NOT running

open explorer and goto %appdata%\thunderbird\profiles

check if you have more then one profile (folder with random-text.some-extension). Open them and check under IMAPmail or Mail if you have your accounts and under them if your mailfolders (thats the one without extensions) has any size.
