I have laptop with (Win 10) and my yahoo mail account was working until this morning. I attempted log into the same account on another laptop (Win XP) and found that the password was different than the one I used to log into the Win 10 unit. I discovered this while attempting to correct the issue, On the Win 10 unit, my login information is ojollyx@xxxxx.xxx and the password to enter is under what I thought was my ID. When attempting to correct the information on the win XP unit, it would not let me use ojolly5@yahoo.com but would let me use ojolly5 as an ID but the password I used on the Win 10 unit would not be accepted on the XP unit. When I tried for a new account it kept telling me I had an existing account and would not allow me to use ojolly5 as ID so I changed it to ojolly then it would not let me use an email that is good to receive a message to change the password. This does not give me a good impression of Mozilla Firefox being able to correct the problem. When I click on the Firefox icon on the XP it puts me into Internet Explorer. I have downloaded Firefox two times this morning, nothing seem to work and now I can't get into the yahoo email account that worked earlier today. Surprise me and help me please. Phone xxx-xxxx-xxxx or email me at ojollyx@xxxxxxx.xxx.

Please make sure you are running the latest version of Firefox on both computers. You mentioned that are being redirected automatically to user IE on your XP computer, that is a permission you must fix. Also, are you referring to Sync/ Firefox Accounts in regards to signing in? Please also see Firefox no longer works with some versions of Windows XP.
