I recently installed thunderbird, migrated all of my messages and message folders from outlook, re-created filters from my previous outlook rules, and setup my primary email account. I had some trouble forwarding my secondary gmail accounts to my primary gmail account, so I setup all of my (few) gmail accounts in thunderbird.

The issue is that now thunderbird doesn't download *any* messages from my imap/gmail accounts.

I've looked through a lot of support pages on the web, tried a lot of suggestions, but nothing seems to fix the situation.

Any help?

thanks, crichmon

Chosen solution

The solution is: create filters on individual email accounts, not just the local folders.

Thank you for all of the help.
