I am trying to create archive folders in 'local' on Thunderbird. (Not on my actual email provider account page ).

I am trying to create a folder for each email account.

When I try to do this emails from one email account appear in the folder for the other account.

I have tried over and over different methods to set up the folders in local but non seems to work? Is there some kind of bug with Thunderbird? I have seen many people have had problems with this in many forums?

Nope no bug in Thunderbird.

In account settings > copies and folders. Specify the pre existing folder to be used as an archive (they have to be created before you try and enter the settings.) Repeat for each account. make sure the folder name chosen is different for each account as you work through them
