Correspondents field is incorrect when downloaded from an email account

I'm a member of several google and yahoo groups. Of these, one particular yahoo group related emails are downloaded incorrectly in such a way that whatever the original sender is, when downloaded into Thunderbird client, the email seems to be sent by a particular group member.

I check the same emails on the corresponding email account accessing via browser; I see the from field is correct. But when I download it into the Thunderbird, it somehow changes to be coming from one particular account.

I changed my settings in the corresponding yahoo group in such a way that I change my subscribed email address from @hotmail.com to @gmail.com nothing changed.

PS : I'm subscribed to many google and yahoo groups and the same problem DOES NOT occur for my other memberships (all using the same Thunderbird client).

Regards

Chosen solution

Go to your address book and eliminate the name you have saved with that groups address.

Oops. I was wrong. Airmail is correct.

I deleted what I originally put here.
