IMAP mail accounts would be suitable.

Emails are stored on server. Imap affords a remote view of what is on server. So different people on different computers can have an imap mail account on their computer which sees what is on server.

If you currently use POP: You cannot change a pop mail account to an imap account. You need to create a new existing mail account and set it up as imap.
