I read and understand clicking on the star is supposed to bookmark the webpage. It doesn't seem to always work. I clicked on the star but it sometimes work and sometimes doesn't. I am not sure why?

By the way, what is the difference between bookmarking a page and adding a page shortcut?

What gives you the impression that Firefox isn't saving the bookmark?

As to the page shortcut vs. bookmark, a bookmark lets you access a website more quickly from your browser (in this case Firefox). A page shortcut creates a shortcut on your home screen for the specified page.

I checked under bookmarks, and the website was not recorded.

Try re-installing Firefox, and see if you still have the issue.

Thank you I shall do that when I get a chance. In fact when I bookmarked the same page again later, it worked.

Is this given page talking about desktop Firefox or Android Firefox? It seems to be dealing with Firefox on computer.
