I have the bookmarks toolbark checked but the icon is missing and i cant get my favorites bar back underneath the menu
I have defaulted the bookmarks settings but cant get my bookmarks toolbar back underneath the url bar. when I go to customize the bookmarks toolbar icon is not in the list of available icons and the dotted line box underneath the url bar where it would go it missing

Hi, Sorry having issues : Note there is no such thing as Favourites in Firefox.

If default then Bookmark Toolbar is off as well as the Menu Bar.
There is no icon for Bookmarks Toolbar. It is available 2 ways : Mouse to the top of the Browser to a empty spot and Right Click, Click Bookmark Toolbar ( Menu Bar if want it ). Or go to Customize --> Mouse to Bottom Left to Toolbars --> Turn it on https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/bookmarks-toolbar-display-favorite-websites

Do you get a glimpse of the Bookmarks Toolbar at startup and then it disappears? Just wondering if this thread (unsolved) could be relevant: Bookmark toolbar vanishes on startup.
As a different data point, two users in the following thread reported their problem with the Bookmarks Toolbar not appearing seems to be linked to using the "Restore Previous Session" option on the Options page:
