Even after computer shutdown and clearing cookies, audio from a CNET video on a walmart product page keeps playing. I go to the site and play and pause but no.

I cannot stop this intermittent audio from playing. It doesn't play the full audio, it cuts off after about 30 seconds. I am pretty certain it comes from this link I visited yesterday. I even shutdown my PC last night to try and get rid of it.

Is it a voice talking about the X-Box X ?

For me, it stopped playing when I closed the tab.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Hi FredMcD,

Thank you, but nothing has worked. It is the project scorpio audio. I've cleared cookies and cache a few times. I also started firefox in safe mode and disabled hardware acceleration. It just now happened again :(

Have you tried shutting down the project Scorpio/Xbox player? Have you checked with their support site?

You may have ad/mal-ware. Further information can be found in this article; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
