I have Firefox (latest version on iOS) set to match my system theme. My iPhone is set to go to dark mode at dusk. When this happens, Firefox switches to dark mode accordingly but never stays there. If I leave and reopen it switches, and it switches some other times as well (changing tabs etc). This has been going on for a few months.

I’m on the latest iOS using an iPhone XS.

Sounds like a bug. Have you tried reinstalling it?
