Hello, I want to be able to search directly from Google, Bing, etc. when I am in a private window. Computer will search from the address bar only when initially bringing up a private window. I type in Google.com, Bing.com, etc. in the address bar & I then can search from their search box.

You can search directly from the address bar if you want to, by entering the query and pressing enter - that will use your default search engine.

Alternately you can enter the query, then select one of the search engines at the bottom of the address bar popup (see the image below).

This is the same as visiting the site and then searching in the site's search box.
