How to know which Firefox version is associated to a given profile?

Hi,

I have reinstalled my Debian, keeping of course my `/home`. New Firefox version is `68.12.0esr`. A new profile has been created, but I need the old one which I can set as default in the profile manager at the url `about:profiles`, but Firefox tells me "Using an older version of Firefox can corrupt bookmarks and browsing history.....". So, it seems I need to install the same version of Firefox I had before, but I don't know which one it was, and I would like to avoid to make many trials.

Is there a mean to know which Firefox version is associated to a given profile?

You can check profiles.ini in a profile to see what Firefox installation last used this profile. Firefox scans profiles.ini in all profiles to check if there is a profile present that has last used an available profile and offers to use this profile.
