Hi, I'm using one tab with YouTube for playing music. When I'm using other tabs (loading/refreshing/scrolling FB/forums/pdfs) CPU usage hits 100% and sound from YT is interrupted, and chopped. Few months ago there were no such problems, I can't recall when it started. I haven't installed any new plug-ins. Using Windows Task Manager I found that Firefox is only one program which uses any significant amount of CPU time, CPU is i5-3440M- 2,7GHz and 8GB RAM

Is there any fix for this?

I would suggest using the below link to get a better idea of which tab is causing the issue.
