Viewing unified folders has disappeared

more options

All of a sudden I cannot see my Unified folders. I have to go to each e-mail address to see what e-mails have come in to my Inbox.

I liked the option of using Unified folders so I could see the e-mails from all my different e-mail addresses on one page.

Please help.

This problem just started in the last couple of hours.

Hi again, I tried the following from the link you sent: Right click on "inbox" at the top of the folder pane (the inbox that has child folders for each accounts inbox) and select "Properties". Check that the search criteria uses the radio button for "Match all messages" and that there are no additional criteria. Typically you'll see a greyed out "Subject" "contains" and a empty field followed by the plus and minus buttons.

I clicked the e-mail address as well as the Inbox under each one. And I can now see them in the Unified Inbox.

Thank you. Sometimes these things are a bit too daunting for me.

I'm glad there are people like you who are up on these things. Thanks again.

Try the suggestion here: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unified_Folders_not_working

Delete the smart mailboxes folder from the profile folder and the virtualFolders.dat file.

I'm sorry for the delay, but I've been busy and your responses were overwhelming. I don't understand all this stuff much.

Where will I find "smart mailboxes folder" or the "profile filder" and the virtualFolders.dat file?

Any more specific details would help.

Thanks.
