Android - random tab navigation when I close multiple tabs

On Android say I have more than 10 tabs open and I want to start closing them. I'm currently on tab A, and then I scroll up to see the rest of the taba and start closing then by either swiping or clicking the X button. After I close 3 or more, Firefox will randomly navigate to another tab.

I would expect for Firefox to stay on the tab A which is the one I has open and never closed, instead of jumping to other tabs at random.

Hi

In your example, is tab "A" the first tab you opened or the last tab you opened?

The last tab I opened

I have opened ten tabs in Firefox for Android, made sure that the last tab is selected and then closed a number of tabs using the "x" in the corner if each tab in the tab menu.

I found that the last opened tab would always stay selected if I closed the last tab. If I closed random tabs, the last opened tab would still stay selected.
