Mozilla failing to start on Windows 11
I installed Thunderbird on a new Windows 11 laptop yesterday. I migrated across my folders and everything was working fine. Following a windows update I can no longer get Thunderbird to start. I've removed and reinstalled the product and I can't find a lock file.
This is the error message :-

The lock file, parent.lock, would be in your profile folder, probably at c:\users\yourid\appdata\roaming\thunderbird\profiles\xxxxxx-profilename-default
I've managed to resolve this. It looks like the windows update changed the permissions on folder. Changing that from read only made it work.
I'm glad you resolved this. And now I know if I see a similar problem. Thanks.
