I am using Windows 11 and have just upgraded Thunderbird to version 102.6 x 64 bit version and emails will not download. There is an error message that comes up "UID FETCH failed" every time I try. This is of 13th December 2022. Apple iPads are downloading with no problems.

Another bigpond user posted the same question. My reply was: This is a server error and email host should be notified. You might get by this by exiting thunderbird, deleting (or renaming) the inbox (INBOX and INBOX.msf) and restarting thunderbird.
