firefox password and logins syncing on pc and android devices
In firefoxe's documents, please ...
- provide summary of what needs to be achieved before syncing can take place (there are many ways to sync and almost as many ways to cause corruption of the data ... (don't make us guess and do trial and error
- does syncing of the devices have to be with all the devices at the same time?
- which device has the master base. I have assumed my PC contains the master data base.
- If I press sync now, will the device I am on sync to the master ... or will the other devices sync to my current device. Push or pull?
- If another device was updated last, does it override all other devices? If a login and password were removed after it was changed on my current device, does that override my current device.
- Are the any known sources of corruption of the data base?
- Can only one device, the current one device edit the data base.
- Must all devices remain connected even when not syncing?
- Please mark documents when predicated... and point to the latest.
- If I have multiple computers, do your answers still hold?
... I am have lots of corruption problems...

Hi
I hope I can help.
Before you use Firefox Sync, you need to have two or more copies of Firefox (ideally on different devices) signed into your Firefox Account.
Devices will sync as you save and update bookmarks and user credentials, making the newest information available to other devices you have signed into Firefox Sync.
There is no "master" - Firefox Sync will ensure that all devices have the most recent copy of the data.
The most recent changes will be updated across all devices you have signed in.
Firefox Sync works best across multiple devices, it is not designed as an online backup service for one device.
You do not need to keep all devices connected all of the time to use Firefox Sync.
I hope that this helps.
