Can't return to DuckDuckGo results

I open up a new tab, go to the address bar, search for anything with DuckDuckGo, and select a result. When I press back, it doesn't go to the search results, but instead goes back to the home page.

Does the search page appear in your history if you right-click on the 'back' arrow?
