navigating to a certain year in the past in calendar directly

I cannot navigate year by year in the calendar. I can only navigate day-by-day, week-by-week, or month-by-month. I don't see a year option. Kindly help me out

Select the year in the mini-month in the upper left, either by clicking the < or >, or rolling the mouse wheel while holding Ctrl, then click any day to show the full calendar for that period.
