Problem entering to specific websites - Previously was ok.
HI, I have a Mac with El Capitan OS and Firefox 78.15.0esr. Recently I can´t open some websites: ChatGPT, Likendin, TunnelBear, Wester Union, etc. Before everything was working perfect. Please HELP! Thanks friends :) When I try to open this website, nothing happens, nor an error, sometimes in certain website it keeps retrieving and thats it.
Many thanks,

Hi
That ESR version you mention has not been supported for some time. Given that the operating system is also moving beyond support, you may need to consider a more recent device to avoid security risks and functional issues.
In Connection Settings, try toggling "Enable DNS over HTTPS" and change "Use system proxy settings" to "No proxy".
Does it still happen in Troubleshoot Mode?
It is possible that websites no longer support Firefox 78.15.0 and use JavaScript that requires a newer version.
You can check the Web Console (Tools -> Web Developer) for messages about blocked content and about the presence of mixed or unsafe content.
You can check the Network Monitor to see if content is blocked or otherwise fails to load.
If necessary use "Ctrl+F5" or "Ctrl+Shift+R" (Mac: Command+Shift+R) to reload the page and bypass the cache to generate a fresh log.

If your hardware supports it and can be updated to macOS 10.12 to 10.14 then you would be able to use Firefox 115 ESR. Firefox 116 or later requires macOS 10.15 or later.
If you are willing to research and do the work, you may be able install a Linux distro either in replacing or by dual boot as you have a Mac with a Intel CPU.
