When scrolling through online pictures or even while typing this note, Firefox dropdowns get really annoying! It seems to be triggered by right-clicking the mouse on a link, misspelled word or button. It really is a PITA! How to stop?

Can you attach a screenshot?

It's not allowing the pop up to be copied. I guess it's a Windows as it asks if I want to "Save page as...","Save Page to Pocket", "Select All" etc. Any of this help?

As I said earlier, the Windows drop down appears whenever I right-click on a button or link. It's accompanied by a sound. It's a Windows function, asking if I want to save it or take some other action. It disappears after cropping the screen shot and doesn't appear in the copied or saved screenshot. The result is that I cannot send you a screenshot that includes the dropdown... which is really a pop-up.

tomgauger, sounds like you are talking about the right-click context menu? This is not easy to disable. It is a basic Windows function that is used in the majority of applications.

I am just wondering why you would right-click on a link or button, if this isn't to open up a menu of possible actions to perform on that item?

If you simply wish to activate the item, you can left-click it?

Thanks..you're right about right-clicking bringing up the "context" menu. Now I know what its name is. And you may be right that my middle finger is paying to much attention to the right button.
