In Firefox, your preferred language is most likely already set to English, but you could double-check that: Use Firefox in another language.
For search sites, there usually is a language setting. For example:
- Google: https://www.google.com/preferences?lang=1
- Bing: https://www.bing.com/account/general#language-section
- DuckDuckGo: https://duckduckgo.com/settings
Those and other sites may be changing the language because of your Mexico-based IP address. To bypass the local IP address, you can use a VPN program. Proton VPN has a free version you could consider -- https://protonvpn.com/free-vpn -- or of course there are many free trial/non-free options. Choose a VPN server in the U.S. or another English-speaking country for sites that tailor the language to your location.
