How do I get Adobe to install their new upgrade?

I tried to download some forms that required Adobe and I got an error message that said there was a conflict between Firefox and Adobe 7 and I should upgrade to Adobe 9. How do I get Firefox to recognize Adobe downloads as legit?

Go to Adobe Reader page and download the 9.3 version: http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/

I suppose you need to be an Administrator to install it.
