I spoke yesterday by telephone with customer service for the Memritv.org website. They informed me that they are well aware of this problem. They stated further that the problem is due to a software difficulty on their end, and is not due to a fault on the part of website visitors or their personal computers. Memri expects to implement a successful software "fix" in the near future.

If I understand correctly, CUPLayer is something called CastUp Player, and it sounds like Firefox can't get it to run. Does CastUp Player sound familiar to you? Do you still have it installed?
CU Player is, indeed, CastUp Player. However I was previously able to view streams from this site without ever knowingly downloading CastUp Player or any other special software. It is only recently that this website became a problem. I am wondering if CastUp Player specific streams are perhaps no longer compatible with FireFox for OS X. Perhaps someone knows, or is aware of a solution?
Maybe there are specific file types set to use CUPLayer. Use the instructions at Manage file types and download actions in Firefox to find out.
