I use Firefox frequently and continuously I receive a message "unresponsive script"

I continuously receive "unresponsive script" message when I try to open an new page. My system seems to be rather ponderous.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."
