how do I copy and paste information to a word document that would take too long to retype? Ex. scriptures from biblos. The word processor stops working when I atempt to paste in the document. I don't have that problem when I use a public computer.

I realize their are protected sites. I don't understand why I don't have a problem when I use the computers at the community college. The same should happen if there are copy rite issues.

Are you talking about copying from a document which you've opened in Firefox?

If so, you can do it several different ways. CTRL+A will copy everything on the page. Then CTRL+V to paste.

Double click a word to highlight it, then hold down SHIFT while you press the right mouse button. Then hit CTRL+C to copy and CTRL+V to paste.

You can also click at the start of the syntax you want to copy, then hold down SHIFT and click the end of the paragraph(s). This will highlight everything in between. Then CTRL+C/CTRL+V again.

There are also several add-ons which you can use. See https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search/?q=copy+text&cat=all&x=0&y=0
