Since I transferred to firefox ( recommended by Yahoo), none of my attachments and videos are opening, not sure why

Yahoo wanted me to change over from Internet explorer to Firefox, as it would work better with Yahoo, but now, I am not able to open attachments or videos that are sent to me, and I really don't know why this is happening. What am I doing wrong?
