Cannot upload attachment for hotmail. The "uploading ..." sign never finishes. But the upload of attachment works in IE. Tried disable, uninstall, and reinstall silverlight, but none of these seems to solve the issue.

Thanks. It solved the problem: I did have a user agent associated with undefined GoogleToolbarBB. But I have no idea how that happened.
