Some graphic elements of web pages are missing

more options

I am running the most recent Mac OS Lion. Some graphic elements are missing on web pages as compared to Safari.

I want to start fresh with a brand new download of Firefox but I do not know how to uninstall my current Firefox, plug-ins, etc.

Will this solve my problem or is there another remedy?

Thank you!

Chosen solution

Which elements are missing?

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

  • Firefox > Preferences > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"

Problem solved!

Allow pages to choose their own colors.

Now I see everything!
