I had Norton 360 installed, but after they updated to the latest version, I got a message that FF16 is not supported. Backup didn't work anymore, neither did "identity safe".

Any idea why this happened? I cannot get a satisfactory answer from Norton.

I have since Uninstalled Norton 360.

You need to check for Norton updates with every Firefox release. Norton usually releases an update on the same day as a new Firefox release. Run LiveUpdate as many times as necessary to get all updates - restart your system as required.

Other- You need to update some plugins. Out of date plugins make any browser installed on your system vulnerable to attack.
