yes, you could also use that as a last resort if just removing this extension doesn't solve the issue.

it would also be nice if you can report back if the redirects stop after removing this fake flash extension - then i can arrange for it to be blocklisted, so that other affected users get protected too..

Gerard Computer (for removing redirects) http://gerardcomputer.com/ and http://fix-redirect-virus.com/ offer free do it yourself stuff for speeding up computer and doing full virus removal and tune up. They have full video series and don't try to scam you with anythingFix-Redirect-Virus

Gerard Computer (full virus removal and redirect removal) has one of the best do it yourself video series. You can remove your own virus and also learn to do it to other comptuers!
