When I'm using one window I can not open any other windows. In some websites when you click on something a new window should be opened but for me it doesn't happen. Just like I've not clicked. And also when I close my current window I can not open any other windows; so I should restart my pc.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

Make sure that your security software isn't blocking those other windows.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
