yesterday afternoon I selected a sub-folder to forward an email. When I clicked on that folder the emails stored just began disappearing,I watched each email just leaving the folder. I have tried repairing, then re-starting Thunderbird. I've been unable to recover and those emails in that folder are probably the most important of all my folders. Any ideas on how to recover, that's the only folder involved as far as I can tell?
