When I use Firefox as my brower for my Hotmail (Outlook) email account, for the first time this afternoon some of my personal folders in the left hand column are missing. But if I use another browser such as Google Chrome or IE9, the folders are all there. The particular folders that are missing are subfolders under the personal folder I created and named Travel. How can I get them back so that I can continue using Firefox?

I would be so appreciative of your help. Many thanks in anticipation

Chosen solution

Hi Anthony, If you refresh the folders panel in Firefox or if you search for them, do the folders show up?

Does this happen after you clear the cache and cookies? or in Safe Mode? Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode

If you open up the Web Console from the Developer Tools, do the folders appear in the html of the page?

If this continues, please also file a bug in out webcompat.com where all the compatibility bugs are investigated.

Thank You.

It was a simple matter of just refreshing the folders panel as you suggested. My original stress didn't even think of this as it has never happened before.

I appreciate your help.
