On a desktop pc it is possible to set preferences so that firefox always starts in private browsing.

I would like to have the same also on android but I couldn't figure out how to get it: I couldn't find anything relevant in the preferences.

If it is not possible, maybe it would be nice to have the possibility to choose in future releases of firefox.

Thanks

Hello there,

At the moment this feature is not possible in "Firefox for Android" and you can only set temporary private browsing once you launch the browser and click on "New Private Tab". https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/private-browsing-firefox-android#w_how-do-i-open-a-new-private-browsing-tab

Hope this helps!

Ok, for the moment I will go on launching private browsing manually every time.

I wish, anyway, that in a (near) future release the developer will add a menu entry to enable PB by default (I can't see why it is not already there!).

Thanks
