The version 31.2.0 of Thunderbird I downloaded for my new Windows 8 computer does not have a 'next' button. I don't always chose to delete every message, but I do want to move onto the next one. The last version of Thunderbird on Windows 7 had a simple button to click to get next, and I'd like that convenience again.

Chosen solution

Right click the Mail Toolbar and select Customize. Add any buttons that you like from there. You must have customized you last version since Next is not a default button on the Mail Toolbar.

Thank you very much. I just started using this version today, after my last computer became unoperable, it had been in use over 5 years. Very frustrating getting all programs as I am accustomed to.
