I have begun to receive e-mail displayed in what appears to be Courier New 10 PT in AOL mail and Yahoo mail. The offending e-mails are from a friend using Linux and a friend on AOL and an e-mail from a commercial outfit. These e-mails are nearly unreadable. Parts of the letters are missing and it is all thin, as if it were an old Selectric typewriter with a worn ribbon. Now I have discovered that the problem does not happen when using Internet Explorer.

After further exploration I found that changing the default display for mono spaced font, my problem was solved.

Thank you very much.
