In "General" it won't allow me to select "show my windows and tabs from last time".

In "General", "Startup", "When Firefox starts:" It will not allow me to select "Show my windows and tabs from last time". It allows "Show my home page" and "Show a blank page". If it can't be resolved I will change browsers.

You're not using permanent Private Browsing mode when you attempt to set "show my windows and tabs from last time", are you?

Always use private browsing mode in Privacy > History.
