ff 47.0, linux, fedora

main url field has dropdown, you know. Each time I start firefox i see question in this dropdown: "would you like to.. blahblah, don't remember the actual text right now.. search apps"

This question appears again each time I start firefox. So I have to answer it every day. That's very annoying.

And btw I'm pretty sure this is bad idea to "extend" main dropdown behavior with apps or anything. But I'm sure you won't listen to me, so another question:

How to disable search apps in dropdown or any "advises", "notices" etc when I'll be forced to use em after next update?

Are you able to capture a screenshot of what you are referring to? I have an idea what you are talking about, but want to make sure.

See this support article. How do I create a screenshot of my problem? It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.

Then use the Browse .... button below the Post a Reply text box to upload the screenshot.

You can set browser.urlbar.unifiedcomplete to false to remove the Visit page suggestion from the location bar drop down list.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
