If site uses Java Still on its plugins which browser or ANY works on Java? This move is really irritating.

This site uses Java and it is essential to me: http://software.broadinstitute.org/software/igv/

Also Nvidia system finder uses Java plugin to scan drivers for GPU.

Firefox v52+ disables all plugins except for Flash Why do Java, Silverlight, Adobe Acrobat and other plugins no longer work?

To actually answer question more clearly unlike above generic reply.

Firefox 52.0 and later Releases only allows the Flash Player Plugin to run in Firefox whether on Windows, Mac OSX, or Linux.

There is the option of using Firefox 52.0 ESR to use other Plugins like before. However for Windows you need the 32-bit Firefox as the Win64 Firefox only allows Flash Player and Silverlight Plugins to run.

The current Firefox 52 ESR is 52.3.0esr and the last update will likely be 52.8.0esr out when Firefox 60.0 is released in May 2018.
