Is there a way to specify that attachments appear after my message and NOT at the end of the entire email string?

I use Windows 10 and my attachments are automatically attaching to the very end of the email string. Is there a setting I can update to attach the attachments after my message/response instead? Thank you very much for your help.

No.

An email message is a complex sequence of component parts; text, html alternative, images, attachments. How this is shown is a function of the recipient's email client. Outlook shows attachments at the top; Thunderbird chooses to show them at the bottom. I don't know of any program that shows them associated with the sender.
