Firefox freezes when using command shortcuts: cmd+v, cmd+c, cmd+w, cmd+t, cmd+a...

It freezes for 5s, rainbow ball appears.

Otherwise Firefox runs smoothly. No freeze when using previous mentioned functionality with mouse.

This issue is not visible in other applications: Safari, Chrome, Word, Skype...

What I've already tried without success:

- safe mode

- clean Firefox install with new profile

- downgrade from 56.0.1 to 56.0.0 and 55.0.3

Thank you and sorry, I know how that feels. I had that, cost me 700 bucks to recover my files.

Next time as might not have been Firefox as sorta in transition here to new code and new versions try the full installer : https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

Could you please return and mark this as solved. Mark your own reply as helps when others do searches for like issues and it closes this off. Thanks and g'luck
