I am running Thunderbird 52.4.0 (32-bit) on Windows 10, setup using POP settings and this is the first time I have had this problem.

I have an email on Yahoo Mail and Thunderbird recognises that there is an email to download and starts to download it, see screenshot 1 attached.

The green download bar a the bottom right is full but a message appears at the bottom left saying No Message to Download.

I tried downloading the header only and then selecting the option on the email to download the remainder but it didn't download anymore of the email.

I know that it's to do with the size of the 2 attachments which I can download from Yahoo Mail to my desktop but Thunderbird just won't download the email.

Chosen solution

I have solved this by using IMAP and not POP3.

This then allowed the download of the 2 attachments which were 8.9MB in size.
