Closed most of my opened tabs. Can't recover all, only some. That's bad.

Firefox closed most of my tabs. I had like 1800, now it's 150. I know it's much, but there were some important things to save. Can't recover all, only 150. When opening, I'm always doing History -> Restore previous session. Before it happened, it opened, like, in error, there were script error message popup. Don't know how much tabs were opened then. Then I closed ff, because it wasn't working properly, like, mid mouse button didn't work, it didn't react to keyboard. Then I reopened and had only 150 tabs. This is really bad, pissed me off. Feels like it's telling me how am I supposed to use browser. I don't like recent changes to ff. It's counter to my bad workflow.

Cheers

Best in case of issues with reloading tabs is not to close Firefox, but go to the profile folder and backup the files in the sessionstore-backups folder with Firefox still running to prevent losing sessionstore files.

You can check in Windows Explorer with Firefox closed if there is a previous version of the sessionstore.jsonlz4 in the main profile folder (this file is only present when Firefox isn't running) and of files in the sessionstore-backups folder available.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
