FF using html5 and unless Adobe creates the ActiveX that you can use then it will not be present. So you should contact Adobe about activex since FF isn't the creator of ActiveX.

Hi, Since ActiveX is a proprietary Microsoft technology this won't work in any other browsers than internet explorer or Edge.

ActiveX is a software framework created by Microsoft as the company Adobe has nothing to do with it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ActiveX

Only in IE as Edge does not support ActiveX.

There used to be a form of ActiveX Plugin a long time ago and even then it was for some certain media controls say Windows Media Player that would not render in web browsers without ActiveX support. http://kb.mozillazine.org/ActiveX

Internet Explorer aka IE has been the only web browser to use this proprietary thing made by Microsoft.
