instance.editdocument3 function is not working in new firefox version 60 and above

There was an extension available in older version 56 and below i.e., "Microsoft Office 2010 14.0.4761.1000” & “Microsoft Office 2010 14.0.4730.1010", which are used to edit the office document files online. In the new version 60 and above these extesnsions are not available and thus the reason we are getting error "instance.editdocument3 function is not working". Any help would be appreciated.

That would be up to Microsoft Office support to create a update extension that will be compatible with newer FF to work if that is the problem. Since that came from Microsoft Office you should email them about the problem as well.
